The signs are everywhere.
Literally.
It is human nature to convey, in a concise fashion, information to others at appropriate places and times.
They are used not only for commercial purposes, but to convey warnings, information, regulations, invitations, or to establish ownership and boundaries.
Signs combine necessity, utility, and a design sense that helps to effectively telegraph a message.
Color, font, graphics, shape, and size are all factors, as is placement, height, and repetition, in order to maximize the desired effect.
Brevity and clarity are assets, because most of the signs we encounter are seen while encased in a moving vehicle.
